Mission Statement

This Ministry exists to provide financial guidance in accordance to Biblical principles. The scope of this Ministry covers four areas, benevolence, coaching, education, and community outreach. We feel it is tremendously important that the Church understand what the Bible says about money and the need for us to be free from all forms of financial bondage, so that we can meet the needs of others, and serve in the way He intended.  Ultimately at FCC we want to develop and maintain a culture of financial responsibility, a culture of stewardship, and a culture of generosity.

Goal

All portions of this Ministry have the goals of encouraging the believer to have a more intimate relationship with Christ, and to point the non-believer towards a saving relationship with Jesus Christ, both through the study and revelation of Scripture.

Benevolence

This portion of the Ministry exists to provide financial and material support as dictated by Scripture and indicated in the Fellowship Community Church Benevolence Guidelines. Requests are prayerfully considered by a Committee of seven that administers and oversees funds and materials that are designated by the Church for benevolence.

Coaching

This portion of the Ministry exists to provide debt and budget coaching on a personalized basis to any members and regular attendees of the Church. This coaching is provided by trained financial coaches within the Church that have gone through Crown Financial Ministries Money Map Coaches Training. These trained coaches also attend ongoing training sessions annually. We believe that if we can get the “money thing” right that a lot of other areas of our life will fall in place. Of course the Bible is our main resource for this coaching.

Education

This portion of the Ministry exist to provide ongoing classes, seminars, and events for the Church so that members and regular attendees can have the opportunity to learn God’s Word concerning finances in a group setting. We utilize Crown, Dave Ramsey, Biblical Stewardship and other materials although we are open to using other materials as long as they are Christ centered. We also have established a financial based Life Group for those that want to learn more about God and finances.

Community Outreach

This portion of the Ministry exists to provide a link to resources in the community as well as establishing FCC as a community partner. We also look to provide educational opportunities for the community by conducting financial seminars and events such as God Provides and Business by the Book which teaches Christian Businesses how to operate in accordance to Godly principles in a secular world.
